Event Timeline

This is a very detailed blow-by-blow of everything that happened in Somarium. Ordered by month and in ascending date order. Also, the Moon Cycles were not implemented until December 28, 2009, thus the format will have changed once it reaches that point.

For a much more concise and condensed game plot overview, refer to the Game Overview.

2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013

-----------------------------------------

2008
JULY
Important Notes: None.
Mod Note: Applications opened on July 31, though official game start was not until August 1.

AUGUST
Important Notes: The first few residents to arrive into Somarium were welcomed by a mysterious ghost-like woman called the "Overlord." Not much was really known at the time. Just that the place was old, abandoned, dilapidated, there were moving scarecrows, a floating castle, and ghosts. However, they did learn who the Overlord was...sort of. She could not say much and claimed she could not remember anything. From that point on, everyone started exploring.
Mod Note: Voicemails were introduced.

SEPTEMBER
Important Notes: None.
Mod Note: We were still new and thus...boring.

OCTOBER
Important Notes: The Overlord came out to mention Halloween as it officially turned autumn. On Halloween there was a carnival, a Haunted Mansion, and a bonfire. The Dreamberries also did not function during this time. Event details could be found here, here, and here.
Mod Note: Rule about no spamming on the apps page implemented.

NOVEMBER
Important Notes: A blizzard brought in winter. Everyone awoke to find the ground covered with snow and the lakes and ponds frozen over. Everyone quickly had to find some winter clothing, which were thankfully readily available by the various empty stories. The cards were also introduced. The two that were immediately available were the Body Switch and Gender Switch ones. A lot of confusion was stirred up as people suddenly found themselves as the opposite gender or in another body. The trick with the cards was that it was like they become possessed and are practically forced to swipe the card into the Dreamberry. More cards would be later introduced. On November 30, everyone saw a nightmare of the Overlord and later found themselves in the dream. The noctaere were first introduced during this dream.

DECEMBER
Important Notes: On December 8, everyone was returned to Somarium. Notes here. Later on, Christmas decorations were put up and the first Secret Santa was held and open access to the floating castle was granted. On December 16, everyone could share their gifts.
Mod Note: Laena feels great shame at her early days of a mod. Also, we have a running joke about how Raiden was killed on Christmas.

-----------------------------------------

2009
JANUARY
Important Notes: Flying horses attached to carriages could be found around Somarium, and when people got on them, they found themselves being whisked away to the floating castle itself, a place that many have wondered how to reach but never could. There a giant party was being held, and the characters could explore certain parts of the castle. Many relationships were formed, and it ended with a giant show of fireworks. On January 23, Somarium was rattled by a large earthquake. Immediately after, a relentless storm of //warm, black// rain thundered through the city and for a week it stayed like that. Some areas were starting to flood, and those who managed to survive the earthquake sought shelter in three places: Tamaki's café, Raven's Tavern, and the Courthouse. On January 29, the rain suddenly stopped and noctaere appeared.

FEBRUARY
Important Notes: On February 3, the noctaere suddenly retreated and a mysterious ghost ship appeared. Residents could explore it, but it was not until February 11 did the ghost ship suddenly move and sail out back to the desert. The unwilling passengers were left to see where the ship would take them, partly in hopes to find out more about the mysterious and unknown world. Many explored the ship, discovering the skeletal remains of its original crew and various, but unreadable, documents. On February 27, the ship dropped people off at some ruins that proved to be more like an abandoned military base. The characters were free to wander around and wonder what the hell was going on. Unfortunately, they weren't alone. Noctaere were also lurking around, which made information gathering a bit difficult. They were eventually randomly sent back home. Spring came on February 27.

MARCH - JUNE
We held our first White Day event in March. In April, cannibals made themselves known and were fixed. A lot of mod/game changes were made in May. Summer came in June and then the fountain broke. The 2-week Application Cycles were implemented at this time.

JULY
Important Notes: The fountain was placed under construction and sealed off. On July 13, it was revealed that there were tunnels underneath the village. The fountain served as the secret entrance to them. Groups of people went down to explore. The fountain was replaced with a rabbit fountain. Details could be found here and here.
Mod Note: Lari joined the main mod team.

AUGUST
Important Notes: On August 25, the desert winds kicked up.
Mod Note: We celebrated Somarium's first birthday on August 1. ...But we've since changed it to July 31.

SEPTEMBER
Important Notes: On September 1, a sandstorm hit Somarium, destroying almost everything in its path. Well the majority of the cottages in the village were wiped at least, and several buildings within the city were severely damaged. There were random one hour lulls in which it was safe to go out, and some took advantage of this time to try and assess the damage as well figure out where everyone was. During the sandstorm, there was a moment where there was long lull and then desert monsters invaded. It was not until September 14 did the Overlord appear and restored everything. She also told them about dream energy. Also Autumn came.

OCTOBER
Important Notes: Somarium turned into Halloween Town from A Nightmare Before Christmas. The Halloween Carnival also returned, though it was apparently creepier than usual what with the fog surrounding it and not being accessible for a while. On October 25, everyone woke up to find themselves in the floating castle by a body. One of the ghosts, Precious, was murdered up in the floating castle. It wasn't a pretty scene. Clues were left behind as to how it happened and everyone was brought up to help solve the mystery. On October 30, they were also donned in costumes to fit with the Halloween theme. The mystery has yet to be resolved.

NOVEMBER
Important Notes: On November 2, everyone had a shared dream of what looked like a mysterious woman and a girl. Upon waking, everyone was returned back to their homes. On November 22, winter arrived. But a strange black dot could be seen coming toward the city. On November 25, residents found themselves hungry which was particularly strange as they did not need to eat before this event occurred. But it wasn't just for food. Residents found themselves craving anything. Knowledge, power, shoes. Also to note is the fact that this occurred during the new moon.

DECEMBER
Important Notes: The Secret Santa event returned—with a bit of an incentive to join. Residents were told that whoever gave the best present would have a chance to return home. A trick? That's not all. Signs of a strange floating mountain could be seen making its way toward Somarium. Huh, so that's what that black dot was.

-----------------------------------------

2010
JANUARY
Moon Cycle 00: 12/28 - 1/03 New Moon
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Instead of visiting home, residents had realistic visions and hallucinations that the area surrounding them was their home world. Others could interact with them, but they would be following their own delusions. What they saw was basically a "worst case scenario" where their world was ruined. On December 30, a Peddler offered an antidote, but it wasn't cheap. Those who bought the antidote had to pay with nightmares. In addition to the event, on December 31 the floating mountain "docked" right above the lake.
Mod Note: This was the very first Moon Cycle post.

Moon Cycle 01: 1/04 - 1/10
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Hallucinations started to disappear and everyone slowly returned normal.

Moon Cycle 02: 1/11 - 1/17

Mod Note: The Dream effect was introduced and made permanent.

Moon Cycle 04: 1/25 - 1/31 Full Moon
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Residents were able to read, and then later hear, the thoughts of others.

FEBRUARY
Moon Cycle 05: 2/01 - 2/07
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Everything returned to normal.

Moon Cycle 06: 2/08 - 2/14
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Dreamberries started to malfunction.

Moon Cycle 07: 2/14 - 2/21
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Dreamberries continued to malfunction due to the ice storm.

Moon Cycle 08: 2/22 - 3/02 New Moon
Dream Effects: Flashback memories of their worst memory or nightmare.
Important Notes: Due to the frigid weather, the Dreamberries were knocked out of commission. This unfortunately meant that the translator that enabled everyone to understand each other no longer functioned. Residents also had the misfortune of having recurring nightmares of their worst memory or fear. On February 27, residents found themselves in a mirror version of Somarium. It was a warehouse filled with noctaere. There were a lot of limitations, including a curfew.

MARCH
Moon Cycle 9 + 10: 3/03 - 3/13
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Everyone returned from the warehouse on March 3. The barrier weakened so that the passes were no longer needed and characters could freely pass through. The floating castle was made inaccessible. On March 9, "Ghosts" suddenly appeared within Somarium and essentially took the role of NPCs. They weren't rather complex; in fact they were more like sheep. Creepy sheep. This was also the end of the Dream Credits System and instead an implied currency was installed in its place. Things were no longer free for the taking—Somarium was becoming more and more like a modern society.
Mod Note: We suggested a lot of things. The Mod Shop closed. Activity Checks were made to be done during the last full week of every month. Dream posts no longer required.

Moon Cycle 11: 3/14 - 3/20
Dream Effects: Happy dreams or fantasies, leaving them calm and relaxed.
Important Notes: A colored light appeared when certain dreams were broadcast on the Dreamberry with the message "Dreams converted." The ghosts started to have a more corporeal look.

Moon Cycle 12: 3/21 - 3/28 Full Moon
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Residents suddenly found themselves able to interact in dreams. They could enter into the dreamer's dream and in some ways affect what happened within the dream. It was essentially an out-of-body experience, only in the dream world.
Mod Note: We totally pre-dated Inception. Also our first occurrence of Dreamwalking.

APRIL

MAY
Moon Cycle 17: 4/25 - 5/01 [technically April]

Mod note: We were basically changing Somarium so that it was more realistic.

Moon Cycle 18 + 19: 5/05 - 5/12
Dream Effects: Dreams of past memories.
Important Notes: The moon phases transitioned faster than normal. The "ghosts" started solidifying.

Moon Cycle 20: 5/13 - 5/22 Full Moon
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Somarium's first AU event. The world changed to back when Somarium was a real bustling city high in its prime. Some believed they lived during that time while others remained the same. They had jobs and lived their life as if they had been born and raised there among the populace. They even made families with one another. This was the first time where residents had a chance to learn how their world worked, especially those lucky enough to work in the research facilities. This was the time where the concept of dream energy was introduced, and that people from other worlds were actually a common occurrence, in fact considered normal. There was even mention of a "Dream Gate", but it was out of commission. Everyone retained all of these memories.

Moon Cycle 21: 5/24 - 5/31
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Everyone turned back to normal, the locals no longer had a ghost form and were more solidified, research facilities were still around, the currency/job system remained, the Dream Gate disappeared, and the floating mountain returned.

Moon Cycle 40: 10/22 - 10/31 New Moon
Dream Effects: Personalized Fears and Haunted Castle of Nightmares.
Important Notes: Throughout the whole week residents were stuck in costumes and could use whatever abilities the costume represented. A mysterious train arrived and those who boarded it were taken down into the sink hole and into the world itself. There they discovered the floating castle, half sunk in the mysterious goop. Upon entering, however, the explorers found themselves fighting for their lives in an extreme haunted castle. There nightmares became all too real—and dangerous. In Somarium, residents weren't having it easy, either. Once again the Dreamwalker ability was granted and anyone in Somarium could enter others' dreams. On October 31, everyone was brought back to Somarium.

NOVEMBER
Moon Cycle 41: 11/01 - 11/10
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Tunnels had limited accessibility, the locals were no longer ghosts, and the autumn harvest was underway.

Dream Effects: Dreams of home or loved ones.
Important Notes: It rained leaves and there were many large leaf piles.

Moon Cycle 43: 11/22 - 11/30

Important Notes: Summer suddenly hit the winter scene this week as all the snow just disappeared and the bright summer sun warmed everyone up. Of course anyone still wearing shorts at the end of the week found themselves freezing, but it was a nice respite after those freezing temperatures.

Moon Cycle 50: 1/18 - 1/24
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: The black ice receded to hold the floating mountain in place. It eventually dragged the floating mountain out to the desert to the sink hole where the statue rose into the air to further entrap it in some strange black goo. The tear in the barrier remained and thus there was an increased number of monster attacks. In addition the new breed of noctaere were revealed to be called "Nycteren." Due to the intensive damage, most of the residents had to camp out with limited food and power.

Sakura dreamed of being attacked by a noctaere like creature while at the sink hole. 7/17: Morgana dreamed of Sylvani and Nitiri fighting in another city. Barrier completely disappeared on Friday, July 20 and monsters slowly began approaching the city.

Moon Cycle 123: 7/22 - 7/31 Solar Eclipse (New Moon)
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Event Details. On Sunday, July 22, the city was attacked and invaded by noctaere and a new type is introduced: Nightwalkers. They could invade dreams and attack the dreamer. Within the next few days, evacuations were made with the help of Cid Highwind's airship and ground transportation. Everyone was taken to a city called Ob Holm. Just as the evacuation group returned to Somarium, another wave of attacks hit, this time with flying noctaere. Eventually the remaining survivors were forced to leave, but as they did they received a message from Ryan before there was a loud explosion. Somarium was left in a swirl of cloud as the noctaere were quickly eliminated. But the fate of those left behind was unknown as the group could only move forward to Ob Holm, where they shared the news.
Player Plots/Events: A group for defense was organized by Steve Rogers as well as by the Police Force.
Mod Note: Somarium turned four on July 31.

AUGUST
Moon Cycle 124: 8/01 - 8/08

Important Notes: Everyone was now in Ob Holm and had to start adjusting to their impromptu extended stay. Dreamberries were also functioning normally once again. For those who did not hear the news from those who arrived, a new face, Dick, appeared to give them a report, which included Somarium's destruction, Ryan's fate, the death of Sylvani, and the known deaths lost during the battle.

Moon Cycle 125: 8/09 - 8/16
Dream Effects: Favorite places. The 'fondest memories' effect continues, except this time, it's more location-based. These locations can be in Somarium or home worlds, as long as it's somewhere significant, or a fond memory was made there.
Important Notes: Everyone was still in Ob Holm and rumors began to spread from passing travelers about the state of Somarium. However, it appeared that another city, Endouto had also been hard hit and a lone solder relayed his message asking for help. Plans to help were made to help the city and find the soldier.

Moon Cycle 126: 8/17 - 8/24
Dream Effects: None
Important Notes: Steve announced on the network that a group would be going to Endouto and anyone else was free to join. Using Cid's airship they soon arrived to the dream gate that would take them to Endouto to see what they would find. There they would find the ruins of the city and the beast that destroyed it. Another surprise, however, was a mysterious woman who defeated the beast. Unfortunately this also broke the dream gate they had entered through, and it would be up to Cid to fly over and bring them back. Back in Ob Holm, there was a special sale on certain trinkets that was said to protect them from nightmares and preventing dreams from being broadcast through the Dreamberries.

Moon Cycle 127: 8/25 - 8/31 Full Moon
Dream Effects: Less dreaming due to special trinkets.
Important Notes:headed to Somarium to see the damage for themselves. The mysterious woman, who introduced herself as Anarya, was also there. A festival was later thrown in Ob Holm in celebration of the probability that the refugees would be able to return to Somarium. However a little spark occurred that dampened the festival spirits a bit and suspicions and resentment started to rise again.
Player Plots/Events: Maryweather held a tea party and everyone was invited.

SEPTEMBER
Moon Cycle 128: 9/01 - 9/08
Dream Effects: Distrust, betrayal, sense of lost security.
Important Notes: Everyone believed they would be going home soon, but Dick told otherwise. The locals of Ob Holm were already growing tired of the Somarium refugees, and the news only sparked new flames of resentment. At this point it was noted that dreams would have impact on Somarium's rebuilding, knowledge that the characters would learn later and players could compile their dreams here.
Mod Notes: We cracked down on our AC.

Moon Cycle 129: 9/09 - 9/16
Dream Effects: Alternate realities.
Important Notes: Violence continued to grow and the trinkets continued having their effect. But everyone got a surprise as Ryan appeared on the network. He was alive! He also had important information regarding how their dreams would help rebuild Somarium.

Moon Cycle 130: 9/17 - 9/23
Dream Effects: Free for all.
Important Notes: Everyone continued to dream, but a series of sandstorms hit through Ob Holm, causing some minor damage. Immediately after, a bandit raid occurred, taking advantage of the weakened city. Blame would of course be placed on the refugees for their bad luck.

Moon Cycle 131: 9/24 - 9/30 New Moon
Dream Effects: Nothing specific.
Important Notes: Ryan announced on September 24 that everyone would be able to return using Cid's airship. However, upon returning they would notice that while the city seemed restored, the barrier was missing.

OCTOBER
Moon Cycle 132: 10/01 - 10/08
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Dreams no longer affected the city, but the true impact of the barrier being gone was realized when the desert monsters began to roam closer to the city borders. The weather was also random and sporadic, altering between hot, rainy, and even snowing.

Moon Cycle 133: 10/09 - 10/16
Dream Effects: Protection. Dreams will be focused on feeling unsafe and needing it, feeling brave and providing it, or memories of receiving it.
Important Notes: A few skirmishes with the monsters were noted, but nothing major had occurred yet. Official word about the barrier was made by Ryan and Dick (mostly Ryan).
Player Plots/Events: Steve proposed a border patrol (OOC info here) while Philip proposed a wall to surround the city. Death the Kid suggests creating a guide compiling all information regarding Somarium together.

Moon Cycle 134: 10/17 - 10/23
Dream Effects: None
Important Notes: The weather continued to be sporadic, but Halloween decorations were starting to come into affect, including the scarecrows.

Moon Cycle 135: 10/24 - 10/31 Full Moon
Dream Effects: Facing your fears.
Important Notes: Everyone had dreams of their worst fear, though not all of them were of nightmareish proportions. Upon waking, however, they found themselves either dressed as the subject of their dreams or they would find the creatures and monsters roaming about. There was also a haunted maze but even more spectacular was the floating haunted castle. It was in fact the remnants of the floating castle, and those who ventured through would find spirits passing through, including Sylvani. Noctaere and Nightwalkers also prowled through the broken hallways and rooms. There was also a broken dream gate.

NOVEMBER
Moon Cycle 136: 11/01 - 11/08
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: The weather stabilized though temperatures remained cold. The haunted castle disappeared and everything returned to normal.

Moon Cycle 137: 11/09 - 11/16
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: On the 11th, a small earthquake rippled through Somarium. At first the damage seemed benign, but buildings started to crumble. Not too long later a mysterious caller appeared on the network suggesting that everyone take things into their own hands—like finding Nitiri on their own. Those who responded received hints and clues how to reach Noctaerium, Nitiri's lair: Under the bridge, through the tunnel, into the depths of the sea.

Moon Cycle 138: 11/17 - 11/23
Dream Effects: Crumbling.
Important Notes: The buildings continued to slowly crumble with more cracks forming along walls. Dick and Aisling give some reassurance that things would be fine and that REM was looking into it. For those who decided to try and investigate Tom's clues, they would find a dream gate that would lead directly to Noctaerium. But they wouldn't get there yet.

Moon Cycle 139: 11/24 - 11/30 New Moon
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: On the 24th, the battle against Nitiri waged on. Eventually they would succeed, and upon Nitiri's death everyone was sent back to Somarium. The sinkhole would also disappear and the way down to Noctaerium was closed. However, members were able to bring back the dream gate found in Noctaerium. But peace would not be immediate. On the 27tn, a black wall of nightmare energy swept through Somarium, causing everyone to live through their deepest, darkest nightmares. It only lasted a few hours, but it would not be something most would forget soon. Regardless of the event, the next day on the 28th, a party was thrown and everyone was able to at least forget about the earlier troubles and enjoy the fact that peace would come at last.
Mod Notes: We did an info dump.

Moon Cycle 145: 01/11 - 1/17
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Aisling appeared to offer another round of dreamwalking sessions for those new to Somarium. Dreamwalking can help with the studying of dream gates and the control of dream energy, both of which may be subjects of interest for several characters. Like last week, small elements of dreams will appear again this week, but stronger and more tangible. While they re still temporary, they will last for about a day, and others nearby can see them and touch them.

Moon Cycle 146: 01/18 - 1/24
Dream Effects: Dreams become more physical
Important Notes: Following Aisling's dreamwalking session, characters are encouraged to make their own attempts at creating dreamfields and entering others' interactive dreams. Also this week, upon waking, characters will be bringing back small souvenirs with them: objects or reminders of their dream that they can hold. These objects remain with the character for the day before disappearing.

Moon Cycle 147: 01/25 - 1/31 New Moon
Dream Effects: Dreams meld together
Important Notes: Dreams are suddenly melding together. The dreams of two (or more) characters are suddenly merged into one giant interactive dream. At the end of the week, Ryan and Dick give a report on dream energy levels and answer questions about the melding.

FEBRUARY
Moon Cycle 148: 02/01 - 02/07
Dream Effects: None
Important Notes: The dream melding continues, though thankfully, at a slower rate. Aftereffects are also beginning to show up for those who suffered merged dreams. Everyone will be experiencing horrible bouts of insomnia, and effects ranging from migraines to delusions, depending on how many times they've merged dreams with others.
Player Plots/Events: Rosalia might accidentally pass along a virus.
Mod Note: A few reminders and issues regarding AC

Moon Cycle 149: 2/08 - 2/14

Moon Cycle 150: 2/15 - 2/21
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: There was a surprise interactive dreamscape that everyone could participate in to help with their dreamwalking abilities.

Moon Cycle 151: 2/22 - 2/28 Full Moon
Dream Effects: They be crazy.
Important Notes: From the 23rd until the 28th, everyone found themselves trapped in each other's dreams. No one was able to wake up, but there was at least one safe place they could dreamwalk to until a way out was found. With the help of Naru and Ryan, they were able to find Caster hooked up to a strange machine, though not before Caster unleashed an attack of his own.

MARCH
Moon Cycle 152: 3/01 - 3/07
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Everyone was released from the trapped dream with a bit of a "dream hangover" to recover from. Caster disappeared from Somarium, but the machine he was attached to remained.

Moon Cycle 153: 3/08 - 3/14
Dream Effects: Soothing memories to help recover.
Important Notes: Recover was slow, but soon things were back to normal. On the 13th, Ryan explained what happened, including the machine.
Player Plots/Events: The infection continued, Hokuto and Subaru had a birthday party, and White Day.

Moon Cycle 154: 3/15 - 3/22
Dream Effects: Sense of being watched.
Important Notes: REM had become suspicious that others may have been involved and the locals also became suspicious.

Moon Cycle 155: 3/23 - 3/31 New Moon
Dream Effects: Dark reflections.
Important Notes: Through the 23rd and 25th, REM launched a series of investigations within a dreamscape, pulling in random individuals to question. Afterwards, beginning the 26th, some found themselves facing a version of themselves with a darker personality. When they woke up, however, they began to act like them, as if they were suffering a split personality.

APRIL
Moon Cycle 156: 4/01 - 4/08
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Everything returned to normal, but some new odd things appeared and disappeared. Random little objects would disappear and be replaced with an egg which contained a clue. Owners had to follow the clues to find their lost item.
Mod Notes: We cookied everything.

Moon Cycle 157: 4/09 - 4/15
Dream Effects: None.

Mod Notes: We sent out the details of the upcoming AU event with a Reference Directory.

Moon Cycle 159: 4/21 - 5/01 Full Moon
Dream Effects: No dreams whatsoever.
Important Notes: For some reason, people found themselves once again trapped in a dreamscape. This time, however, they had no idea they were in one. They all believed they were living sometime one year and a half in the future. And the future looked grim for Hypnosia, for in this alternate future, it was destroyed. Within this alternate reality, those affected had to not only try and help Hypnosia, but also invaders attacking their own world. Fortunately not everyone was asleep, and Aisling alerted everyone that it was being looked into.
Mod Notes: We made a simple chart reminder about how the AU worked.

MAY
Moon Cycle 160: 5/02 - 5/09
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Everyone was returned from the AU dreams with estranged memories. They would not be able to remember their own alternate future life, but they would remember Hypnosia's demise. The cause of it? Answers would have to wait as the only one who could provide them fell from mid-air into the fountain.

Moon Cycle 161: 5/10 - 5/16
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: The man who fell into the fountain was revealed to be Tom, a dream engineer for REM. He was the lone survivor of the group who went down into Noctaerium to investigate into what happened a few weeks ago. He told everyone what he could, but it sounded like some research and experiments were going on down there.
Mod Notes: Clarified hiatuses for the Activity Check.

Moon Cycle 162: 5/17 - 5/23
Dream Effects: Slenderman stalks dreams.
Important Notes:None, other than the dream effects where dreamers feel a if they are being watched and followed by a strange, dark figure.
Player Plots/Events: Lots of mini hulks and Aladdin wants to explore the floating mountain.

Moon Cycle 163: 5/24 - 5/31 New Moon
Dream Effects: The stalking continues.
Important Notes: A group was able to go down into Noctaerium to see what they could find. However, opening the dream gate into Noctaerium allowed noctaere to sneak in and attack dreamers in their sleep.

JUNE
Moon Cycle 164: 6/01 - 6/07
Dream Effects: The nightmares continue.
Important Notes: The gates to Noctaerium were closed but not before everyone returned with information that REM had to go through. The dreams were also getting worse.
Mod Notes: We proposed a new schedule and system for the AC. It went favorably.

Moon Cycle 165: 6/08 - 6/14
Dream Effects: What would you like to accomplish before dying.
Important Notes: Nothing to note.

Moon Cycle 166: 6/15 - 6/21
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Nothing to note.
Mod Notes: Mei stepped down as mod and Cura and Shannon were employed as helper mods.

Moon Cycle 167: 6/22 - 7/01 Full Moon
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: Aisling proposed special dreamwalking scavenger hunt with rewards including a small item from their world. It went pretty well.

JULY
Moon Cycle 168: 7/02 - 7/12
Dream Effects: None.
Important Notes: None really.
Mod Notes: We created a Player Plots page.

Moon Cycle 169: 7/13 - 7/23
Dream Effects: None...and then they kept repeating.
Important Notes: There was a lot of rain which caused some minor flooding. But more important things happened, such as Tom asking for volunteers for an experiment on dreaming and how they affect the connections of dream gates, as well as announcing the winners of the scavenger hunts. Those who volunteered were hooked up and worked with. Not too long after, however, on the 19th everyone started to have recurring dreams, and a specific one: an opposite version of themselves. No matter what, they kept having the same dream.
Mod Notes: We made Residency sign-up required and switched to using the spreadsheet for maintaining the data.

Moon Cycle 170: 7/24 - 8/03
Dream Effects: Recurring dreams continued.
Important Notes: The dreams continued and would continue until the 1st. Dreamberries were also on the fritz, but they also received an actual newspaper.
Mod Notes: We instated a newspaper for a more interactive way to give IC news. Also, Somarium turned five on July 31.
